and its rained at last! We were starting to look like a desert and had resorted to haying up again! But after the rain last night the grass is looking greener again.
Busy Sunday with the pony club training for their badge with Emma and the pony academy full to bursting. Lots of pony fun to be had with grooming and bathing today.
We also had a number of new clients riding taking advantage of the recent group on offer. All of the riders have had a fab time and enjoyed lunch thanks to Dave in the Granary coffee shop. Thankfully the weather has stayed sunny.
The afternoon was also packed with the adults on the Adult Sunday Club brushing up on their riding and stable management skills with Clare and Gillian.
Its also Helen Jones second busy weekend with us here at Hall Place. Helen has settled in really well as is proving to be a fab instructor with the children.
And as usual, plenty of sweeping and mucking out to be done!

Welcome!
Welcome to Hall Place Equestrian Centres new blog! For those who don't know Hall Place, we are a leading equestrian centre in the south. We are BHS and ABRS approved riding school and livery yard. We are also a BHS where to train centre and an ABRS where to train and exam centre.
We have a huge selection of horses from happy hackers to competition horses.
All of the instructors are BHS qualified and are on a training scheme to continue improving teaching and horse care skills.
Our facilties include: indoor school, 2 outdoor arenas ( one floodlit), cross country course, hacking, coffee shop, showers and changing facilities.
We run a number of shows and training courses throughout the year.
The last couple of weeks have been really busy with the easter holidays bringing lots of children for holiday activities such as Easter Egg Hunts, woodland rides and pony days.
The holidays also gave the Pony Club a chance to catch up with training for their lastest badge- the feeding badge.
We were also busy with shows, the easter period meant three shows, one novice showing show and 2 show jumping competitions. All shows were well attended with many people trying to qualify for championships.
We also have had some new additions to the equine team both horses and people! Our latest additions to the horses are Bluebell, Primrose and Spring. All of which are proving to be very useful and popular in the school. We have also three new ponies on working livery- William, Henry and Phoebe. Henry and Phoebe are familiar faces here at Hall Place.
We have also had liveries out and about competing, Paul Weston managed a third and fourth at his latest dressage and has been out eventing with sucess and many of Hall Place's horses have had a lot of fun winning rosettes in the recent show jumping competiton- welldone!
This blog will be updated daily so keep an eye on whats happening at Hall Place
